Since our mission is to Passionately Love God and Intentionally Love People, we need to make sure that there is always room for ONE more person.

This For The ONE initiative builds on the heritage left by those who came before us and prepares a place for those yet to come.

As we partner together living a life of generosity and serving others, we make a difference for generations to come. It starts with helping ONE person take ONE step because there is always room for ONE more.

Every number has a name…Every name has a story…EVERY story matters to God!

Primary Goal

100%
ENGAGEMENT

First and foremost, For the ONE is a discipleship initiative. It is for us to grow as disciples and to make more disciples. Our primary goal is that 100% of our people will have a life-changing encounter with God. We also want every person at ONE Church to learn to live a generous life. We follow a God who is extravagantly generous. We want to follow His lead as this is part of every individual’s personal discipleship.

There are always opportunities to worship, connect, serve, invite, and give here at ONE Church, so join us in this journey!

Secondary Goal

$12,000,000
IN GENEROSITY

Soft Costs

It is going to take ~$2.7 Million to cover our soft costs. This includes things like the chairs we will sit in and the AVL (audio, video, lighting) systems that will be installed and everything in between.

Hard Costs

Hard costs are everything from the foundation to the roof. Raising steel, installing toilets and finishing floors. This will cost ~$9.3 Million.

FOR THE ONE INITIATIVE

We believe that it’s all ONE MISSION we’re on as a church —  for each of us to find our ONE and lead them in their next step with Jesus. So, we need to build because we are doing that very well! We’ve created the FOR THE ONE Initiative to fund this growth.  Giving to this initiative over the two years will go to  fund this next season of ministry expansion as we celebrate our generosity and growth as disciples of Jesus.

The FOR THE ONE Initiative will last for two years, and in the two years, every gift that is given to this initiative will be used to move our mission and vision forward.

WHAT'S NEXT

We are asking that you pray and seek God’s leading for what He is asking of you. Prepare your heart to hear Him, and then listen to what He says, then obediently step out in faith to what He is asking you to do.

Then, prepare to be amazed. We serve an awesome God, and we anticipate He will continue to move in huge ways as we seek an unprecedented impact from our FOR THE ONE Initiative commitments – something only God can do.

FAQs

Was a balcony considered?

Yes, the cost per seat is not the best stewardship of resources and space. There would also be significant disruption in our current auditorium as well as loss of seating during the construction. The initial estimate was $2.5-3.5M to gain a net additional seating of 105-120 seats. This would give us 900-925 seats total.

Will there be more lobby/transition space?

Yes, there will be significantly more transition space which will tie into the existing atrium hallway leading to the Kids areas. (Check out the renderings above on this page)

Sectioning Off Empty Seats – Will the 1,800-seat auditorium include a way to visually manage empty space during smaller services?

Yes. Since the new sanctuary will be comprised of both flat floor seating and stadium seating, the room is being designed in a way that both the seating on floor can flex and the room will have a “room-shaping” curtain which will visually and acoustically allow us to close off most of the stadium seating creating a more intimate and small venue when needed. This curtain when open will allow the full seating of the room to be visible.

Existing/Old Auditorium – What will it be used for after the new build?

The existing auditorium will become the Student Ministry/Worship space. Our Student Ministry continues to grow and this space will allow significant continued growth. This will also allow is to have Middle School programming on Sunday morning during normal service times. During large holiday weekends the existing auditorium will allow us to have an overflow venue space when needed.

Café & Go Love Room – Will these be relocated?

Yes, we will move the café and Go Love areas to the new sanctuary pre/post function space. There will also be several coffee stations throughout this space.

Revenue Opportunities – Can the new building be used to generate revenue?

Yes, should we choose to rent out the new sanctuary and/or the current auditorium, we can make it a revenue positive event. There are very few options in our area for a beautiful 1,800 seat event. Local schools are asking every year if we can host athletic banquets on our campus but we have not been able to accommodate these due to size or availability.

Existing Growth vs. Projections – Are we currently tracking to or ahead of growth forecasts made earlier this year?

Currently, our attendance is exceeding 20% growth for 2025 with our biggest growth season still in front of us.

Currently, our giving is trending at 15% growth for 2025 with our biggest giving season still in front of us.

Total Cost Estimate – What is the full cost of the build, and is that number fixed?

From our bid comparison exercise with the three general contractors, the bid average is $10,085,895. Of the three, SouthTree was the lowest bid and is the company who has completed our most recent Kids expansion.

SouthTree Construction is confident that they can come close to our target, which Is $9.3 million.

Soft costs are estimated at $2.7 million.

What is the projected growth for our community?

According to our data, which we went to an industry expert, our community is projected to grow 54% in the next 10 years. Since that report in March, new information says that we will be getting 4,000 new homes within 5 miles over the next 5 years.

Why do we need this additional space?

As of the 2024 data, there are 201,166 people within a 10 mile radius of our ONE Church. In short, 70% of our community is un-churched…that’s 140,816 people.  If we are going to live out our mission, we need to continue to make room for ONE More.

Have we considered additional campuses?

Yes. We have considered the possibility of multiple campuses and maybe the Lord will want us to do that in the future but for now we feel led to make it feel as much like a family as possible in one location.
